The drugstore social was a Bar situated on Old Dumbarton Road, thriving in this newly gentrified Finnieston area. It was shut back in 2018 so the owners could create a social enterprise to help others. Back in 2016 when it opened, this was one of my favourite places to go, as it was just round from my flat and had a cosy atmosphere that most Westend pubs struggle to create.
The Dark wood and abundant use of old medicine bottles created a very old fashioned and rustic environment, but this when then well balanced with big windows and modern lighting to then bring the place to life.
