For me, a great design includes many different aspects, these being,
-Ergonomics, the action of making a product easy and comfortable to use for humans. This is important as it allows the user to interact with the product without difficulty or discomfort.
-Aesthetic, the image of an object is very important as this is one of the factors that drive people to buy products. If it is visually appealing then purchasing the product will be more enticing. Aesthetic could include color, material, and finish.
-The design process, a good design process is a key to good design as it allows for the development of a product. A good design process should involve initial concepts, further concepts, prototyping, design improvements, and final design.
-Inclusive design, this is a very important factor as a product should be made accessible and usable for as wide a range of possible users
-Innovativeness, creating something new and different is the whole point of design and providing people a new experience.
