This foldable chair here is a very interesting design. It is a very thin bit of wood that can fold down into a very contemporary looking chair. There are already lots of foldable wooden chairs like this, but none with this aesthetic or look, and this actually does completely flatten. Therefore the storage of such a product would be very easy.
The possible drawbacks of this product are that it is not that pleasing on the eye, it is rigid and not very upmarket looking. It does look cheap and maybe not that durable, you could say that it looks like some sort of children's building kit. For me, the practicality of it and the thought behind the design outweighs this, hence why I believe it can be classed as good design.
